Description of the Farida M-2NS Parlour Acoustic Guitar

Designed around smaller 1920's style parlour instruments, the M2 uses the vintage 12th fret neck-to-body join. A hand-selected red cedar top with mahogany back and sides makes for a guitar with a unique tone and feel. Includes Farida guitar case.

Hi Paul
I took delivery this morning of the Farida M 2-NS I ordered from you - and I haven't put it down since, till now. What a stunning wee guitar - and what great value for money (case an' all!). Seriously, it's immaculately finished and very, very well set-up.
I needed a smaller guitar to take with me when I go off in my tiny camper-van, and I had a completely open mind when I went online on Tuesday. What eventually swung me in your direction was the price, the inclusion of a hard case, and the review in Guitarist Magazine. I then had to summon the courage to mail-order a guitar for the first time in 45 (yes, forty-five) years of playing.
As you'll gather, I'm delighted with the outcome. I was prepared for some rough edges, but I honestly can't find any. The guitar's joined a Martin D18, two Lowdens and a Takamine in my acoustic armoury - and it's not out of place there.
Your company and the Farida factory in China are doing something very right, and you need to be congratulated on that. Please pass this on to whoever's responsible.
Enough. I want to get back to the guitar.

Frankly, the M2NS performs astoundingly well, even allowing for the guitar sitting towards the larger end of the parlour category. The response is clear, quick and ringing, backed by a degree of clout and projection that would give a bigger-bodied 000 a tough run for its money. There's less warmth than might be anticipated from the cedar top, but the sound is still a delight.
