Description of the Ibanez RGA42

With a Gibraltar hard tail bridge and arched top Mahogany body, the Ibanez RGA42 is a guitar with great inner strength. This workhorse wraps abundant resonance and natural sustain in a simple and elegant guitar design.

RGA Active EQ

Specially designed to function with the fat and strong LZ3 pickups, the output is controlled by an active circuit to provide pure tone free of noise.

LZ3 Pickups

The LZ3 is also an original Ibanez active pickup, but with higher output than the LZ4. It produces a fat sound with good clarity perfect for distortion sounds.

Gibraltar Standard Bridge

The Gibraltar is a simple fixed bridge that was designed to adhere firmly to the guitar body and make good transfer of the string vibrations.
It is also incredibly smooth for maximum playing comfort.
