Description of the Essential Audio DM5 Drum Microphone Set

The Essential Audio DM5 professional drum microphone set is specifically designed to compliment the natural tones of the acoustic drum kit, in both studio and live settings. The DM5 kit comes in a road-worthy plastic travel case with a pre-cut foam interior for added protection. To ensure the best sound, each microphone in the set has been chosen specifically voiced for its purpose: the bass drum mic is designed to enhance low frequencies, which makes it great for the kick and other low pitched musical instruments due to its exceptional frequency response; the TDM-1 is ideal for tom-toms and snare drums; the condenser mics are excellent for reproducing the sounds of cymbals and the 'overhead' sounds from the drum set and can also be used to record pianos and more.

All the drum microphones are designed with the standard thread (5/8" or 3/8"), to fit all standard microphone stands. The microphones all output to the standard XLR (F) connector for low noise and a strong signal.
