You can record and monitor all 10 channels simultaneously at 24-bit/96 kHz giving phenomenal audio power for the studio musician. Or, you can record and playback up to 6 channels simultaneously at 24Bit/192kHz for performance at DVD-Audio quality.

Two Professional Grade Mic Preamps

The UA-101 is a home studio recording center with very clean, professional grade microphone preamps and premium analog components on a pair of Neutrik XLR-TRS combo input with Phantom power. A 5-LED level indicator is built in so that you can record a clean signal at the appropriate level.

Built-in Analog Limiter and Indicator

The UA-101 allows you more freedom setting your recording levels with the built-in analog limiter. Prevent clipping in your recordings. Get high quality studio recordings with a wide dynamic range. With an integrated low-noise, wide-range power supply, the UA-101 offers +4 or –10 dBu selectable balanced inputs (3/4, 5/6, and 7/8 ports) with PAD switches, balanced outputs (1 to 8 ports), and balanced monitor out ports (L/R) on rear panel for professional audio quality.

In addition to the professional balanced I/O ports above, the UA-101 hosts a pair of Neutrik XLR-TRS combo inputs, Hi-Z (Guitar/Bass) connection, 6 x 1/4" TRS balanced inputs, 10 x 1/4" TRS balanced outputs, front-mounted S/PDIF optical in & out, Headphone out, and MIDI In & out in a half rack body.

Zero-Latency, Direct Monitoring

The UA-101 provides Direct Monitor control on the front panel, allowing you to hear what you're recording onto the computer without listening through the program. Direct Monitoring connects the input of the UA-101 to the output, so there is no lag while monitoring the recorded signal. This realizes high performance recording in many recording DAW software applications.

Powerful Low-Latency Driver Performance with WDM/ASIO2.0 Support

The UA-101 comes with WDM/ASIO2.0 compatible WindowsXP driver for Low Latency with most audio applications.

Hi-SPEED or Full-SPEED Selection Switch

The UA-101 has a Hi-SPEED (480 Mbps, USB 2.0) or Full-SPEED (12 Mbps, USB 1.1) selection switch on rear panel. In Hi-SPEED mode, the UA-101 gives you full performance as multi-track recording audio interface. In Full-SPEED mode, the UA-101 performs as a 2-in/2-out 24 Bit/96 kHz Audio interface, which is compatible with CoreAudio in Mac OS X, ASIO 2.0 in Mac OS 9, and WDM & ASIO2.0 in Windows drivers for Low Latency with most audio applications.

FPT Low-latency MIDI Transmission

The MIDI processing in the UA-101 is compatible with FPT (Fast Processing Technology of MIDI transmission). This technology doesn't depend on music application you are using. It realizes stable, high speed, low latency, and low jitter MIDI transmission.
